Lori Thombs, Director
Dr. Thombs joined our university in 2003. She is a faculty member of the Department of Statistics and the Director of SSSC. Her research interests include time-series analysis, resampling, statistical computing, and statistical education.
Lada Micheas, Assistant Director
Lada Micheas has been the Assistant Director of the SSSC since September 2008. She received a MS degree in Statistics from the University of Connecticut. Her previous employment includes research with growth curve models, generalized linear models and HLM. She is an expert in SAS programming.
Ray Bacon, Director of Outreach and Education
Mr. Bacon is a User Support Analyst at MU and is a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer. His expertise includes SAS, SPSS, data management, and software instruction. He also oversees the Statistical Software Support Outreach at MU.
Brad Alberts, Graduate Research AssistantBrad is a second year graduate student in Statistics. He attended Washburn University as an undergrad. He is knowledgeable in data analysis, and statistical software such as R, SPSS, and SAS. Brad joined the Center in June 2015.
Doug Steinley, Affiliate Faculty
Doug Steinley is an Associate Professor of Psychological Sciences at the University of Missouri. He received his PhD in Quantitative Psychology from the University of Illinois in 2004. His research focuses on multivariate statistical methodology, with a primary interest in cluster analysis and social network analysis.
