Lori Thombs

Dr. Thombs joined our university in 2003. She is a faculty member of the Department of Statistics and the Director of SSSC. Her research interests include time-series analysis, resampling, statistical computing, and statistical education.

Doug Steinley

Dr. Steinley joined MU in August 2004 as an Assistant Professor of Psychological Sciences. He received his PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research interests include multivariate statistical methods, cluster analysis and classification techniques, with an emphasis on computer-intensive methodologies.

Stas Kolenikov

Dr. Kolenikov joined MU in August 2005 in the Department of Statistics upon receiving his PHD from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His research interests include structural equation modeling, survey sampling and microeconometrics. His is also an expert in Stata software.

Ray Bacon

Mr. Bacon is a User Support Analyst at MU and is a SAS Certified Advanced Programmer. His expertise includes The SAS System, SPSS, data management, and software instruction. He also oversees the Statistical Software Support Outreach at MU.

Min Huang

Min Huang is a PhD student from Educational Psychology. Her fields of interest include item response theory (IRT) and test equating theories. She joined the Center Staff in August 2007.

Gretchen Hendrickson

Gretchen Hendrickson is a quantitative psychology student in the Psychological Sciences department. She has experience in modeling and analyzing multilevel data in SAS and HLM. A current research interest involves modeling categorical data using Matlab. She also has experience with the software SPSS, AMOS, and Mx. She joined the Center in August 2006.

Jeremy Gorelick

Jeremy Gorelick is a PhD. student in the statistics department. His research interests are in survival analysis and biostatistics, concentrating on the analysis of interval-censored failure time data. His software experience includes SAS, S-plus, R, and SPSS. He joined the Center in August 2007.
